A new scheme called restorative justice, where an offender has to apologise to the victime, is launched in Corby.

A new scheme called restorative justice is launched in Corby. The Corby Neighbourhood Resolution Forum, the first of its kind in the county, will train volunteers from the community to organise meetings between victims and offenders in the hope of reducing reoffending.

Reporter Carrol Weston asks people in Northampton what they think of the scheme, while Willy Gilder explains how the current justice system works. Stuart talks to Richard Monkhouse, the Deputy Chair of the Magistrates Association, and to Adam Simmonds, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire.
