HIGHNAM RESIDENT TO BECOME OLDEST MAN TO CANOE AROUND THE COUNTRY

A 65-year-old man is about to become the oldest person ever to circumnavigate the UK – in a canoe.

Simon Beeson, from Highnam in Gloustershire, is setting off on a 2,500 mile expedition, from Knowle Beach, Dorset, in aid of the charity which helps people like him get back on their feet after a burn injury – Dan’s Fund For Burns (DFFB).
