Mae nifer y bobl sy'n defnyddio banciau bwyd wedi treblu. Taro Naw - y llwgu cudd. Foodbank use has trebled in the past year. Taro Naw reveals Wales' hidden hungry.
Mae'r defnydd o fanciau bwyd ar gyfer pobl sy'n cael hi'n anodd fforddio bwyd wedi treblu yng Nghymru yn y flwyddyn diwethaf. Mae yna ddau ddeg a phump o ganolfannau yng Nghymru, gyda mwy ar fin agor dros y misoedd nesa. Mi gafodd dros bum mil a hanner o bobl fwyd gan fanciau bwyd rhwng Ionawr a Chwefror eleni, ac mae'r hyn sy'n cael ei alw yn "llwgu cudd" ar gynnydd. Heno ar Taro 9, mi fydd unigolion a theuluoedd sy'n defnyddio'r banciau bwyd yn son am eu profiadau, ac fe glywn am y pryder yng nghanolfan tref Dinbych na fydd ganddyn nhw ddigon o fwyd i gynnal yr angen yn y dyfodol. The number of people using food banks in Wales has trebled in the past year. There are already twenty five centres across the country with more due to open in the coming months. Over five and a half thousand people received food from a food bank during January and February this year, and what’s described as ‘hidden hunger’ is on the increase. Tonight on Taro 9, individuals and families who use food banks talk about their experiences and we hear of concerns at the centre in the town of Denbigh that there won’t be enough food to support future needs.
