Baroness Scotland on the glass ceiling, financing the family and being a woman in business
The finances keeping families going is coming from women, according to Labour peer Baroness Patricia Scotland. She was speaking to UK Black on International Women's Day which throws into the spotlight issues of equality, domestic violence, sexism in the workplace, and the glass ceiling. Baroness Patricia Scotland is one woman who's broken through MANY of those barriers - becoming the first black female QC, the youngest QC in 200 years, the first female attorney general for England wales and northern in 700 years. Here, at the Women: Inspiration & Enterprise event, she explains the importance of women raising the bar and challenging those barriers.
