Adding 2 to 8
Rodd has made a birthday cake for his mascot dog called Patch. He is putting the candles on Patch鈥檚 cake, and asks us to work out how old she is. We join in checking that 鈥�8 plus 2 makes 10鈥� by counting on Rodd's special abacus, and finger counting. The children can join in and play party musical statues and 鈥榝reezing鈥�, and sing a number rap.
