Restoring justice - Birmingham鈥檚 IPCC commissioner on reform of the police watchdog
鈥淲oefully underequipped鈥 and 鈥渇ailing to get to the truth鈥, critics are scathing the police watchdog for England and Wales. Its poor record of police prosecutions following deaths in custody has also put the Independent Police Complaints Commission under fire. In this clip, one of its five newly-appointed commissioners, Dr Derek Campbell, chief executive of the Rights and Equality and community Cohesion Council, tells Chatback of his ambitions for the role.
