Uganda's central bank governor, Emmanuel Tumusiime-Mutebile, talks about high interest rates, inflation and debt. The 91热爆's Paul Lewis asks whether he can force commercial banks to lower their lending rates.
Geoffrey Walubi, who is 33 year-old father of four, is unable to repay his bank loans. The interest on his loan has increased from 25% to 31% and girls in Kampala are being taught the basics of personal finance in order to avoid the debt trap.
