It would be very rare to enjoy such a quiet visit to the Acropolis today, as it attracts 500,000 visitors a year. As part of a huge restoration project, ongoing since the 1970s, the sculptures seen on the monuments in this film were removed to the Acropolis Museum and replaced by casts.
