At least 18 towns, villages or communities in Northamptonshire have started the process of producing a Neighbourhood Plan. The latest are Oundle and Higham Ferrers.

Reporter Martin Borley explains what Neighbourhood Plans are and Stuart talks to Sandra Mitcham, the clerk of Higham Ferrers Town Council, to John Parker, Chair of the Yardley Gobion Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group, and to Ian Harvey, the network and campaigns manager for Civic Voice, a national charity which aims to make places more attractive, enjoyable and distinctive.
