Did You Know?
St Patrick was originally brought to Ireland as a slave, but eventually he managed to escape and returned to Britain. After a time, Patrick believed he had a vision in which a man called Victoricus implored him to return to Ireland. He trained to become a priest and went back to Ireland as a bishop around 432 AD.
