He was known as the deadliest sniper in US history, after apparently killing more than 250 people in Iraq.
According to US army intelligence he was nicknamed 鈥楾he Devil鈥� by Iraqi insurgents who had put a $20,000 bounty on his head.
In the end Chris Kyle was killed on a Texas shooting range, when a fellow US Iraqi war veteran he was helping to overcome PTSD, shot and killed him and a friend at close range.
