What does marriage mean in 2013? France's same-sex marriage reform will go ahead despite a massive rally on Sunday. Tens of thousands of people protested in Paris over plans to legalise same-sex marriage and allow gay couples to adopt. They included Catholic groups and other backers of traditional family rights.
