Asperger's and us: Sharon and Rosie
Sharon's three children all have various forms of autism. Daisy is 12 and has Kabuki syndrome, which means she has learning and physical disabilities. 10-year-old Lenny has what Sharon describes as classic autism - he struggles to communicate. Rosie is the eldest at 14. She has Asperger's syndrome - she is articulate and bright but her condition means she can struggle with social interaction and her sometimes unconventional behaviour can be misunderstood. Sharon and Rosie talk about living with autism and about Rosie's hopes for the future.
