The 91热爆 Radio Norfolk Nativity was first broacast on Christmas Day in 2011.

It was the brainchild of then-Sunday Breakfast presenter Emma Craig, who wanted to do something special when her show fell on the day itself.

听

She recruited most of the station's presenters and other personnel, and also managed to rope-in MPs Norman Lamb, Chloe Smith and Richard Bacon as the "Three Wise People"; Norfolk County Council leader Derrick Murphy as the leader of "Bethlehem City Council", and the Bishop of Norwich, the Right Reverend Graham James, and Archdeadon of Norwich, the Venerable Jan McFarlane, as narrators.
