Future ice ages
Iain Stewart meets geologists who try to predict how future ice ages will develop and affect the landscape. They do this by studying the sea bed around the British Isles where evidence of previous ice ages has been best preserved. Climate scientists featured predict the next ice age will be in forty to fifty thousand years.
