This year is the 150th anniversary of the publication of the Aberdeen Angus Herd Book – the family tree that traces the breed back to its earliest origins. Euan travelled to the North East to find out how the breed developed into the animals we see today. On the Ballandalloch estate he meets Claire Macpherson-Grant Russell who’s Great Grand father founded what is now the oldest herd in the world.
