The remains of Chedworth Villa
Rom and Romola visit the remains of Chedworth Villa in Gloucestershire. The villa had been underground for centuries until it was discovered by archaeologists about 100 years ago. It must have belonged to a very wealthy person; there was evidence of a mosaic bath house, a banqueting hall, a water shrine and farmland stretching in every direction.
