Happy birthday 101! It's a year since the non-emergency number for contacting the police wherever you live in the UK was connected.

But have you ever used it? Well apparently a lot of us have - 25 per cent of all calls being made to Leicestershire Police use the 101 number, which police say eases the pressure on the main 999 emergency service.
