On the day Redcar hosts the annual North Yorkshire and Cleveland Coastal Forum – it’s emerged three beaches in our area are among some of the worst for bathing water quality in the country. Ali will be looking at the future of our coastline, and asking what the poor water quality at Seaton Carew, Sandsend and Staithes could do to tourism in the area.

A new survey suggests the number of people in the North East putting money away in a savings account has fallen compared to 12 months. Ali will be looking at what’s behind the drop.
