91热爆 New Comedy Award 2012: Leeds heat

Find out who stole the show at the second 91热爆 New Comedy Award heat in Leeds.

On August 21, we headed off to the Highlight in Leeds to put our next batch of comedy competitors to the test, under the watchful eyes of guest judge Justin Moorhouse, Executive Producer Alison Vernon-Smith, Producer Lianne Coop and Chortle's Steve Bennett.

As always, we've captured the action on camera so you can sit, back, relax and enjoy the show. All of our stand-ups have been performing for less than three years and are new to the circuit, having applied through the 91热爆 Radio 2 website. We've also included music from two up-and-coming acts from Leeds; James Owen Fender and Submotion Orchestra.

At the end of the heats, two runners-up will be selected by the judges to go straight through one of our two semi-finals. Eight more runners-up will be chosen to compete online in a wildcard vote, where you'll be able to watch more footage of each performer and vote for who you think deserves a place in the semi-final. Voting will open once all the heats have taken place on the 91热爆 Radio 2 website.
