Drama about crime and its consequences (pt 4/4)
Teenager Danny, incarcerated in a young offenders unit, stands up to the prison bullies and does what he thinks is right. Danny decides not to collect the package the bullies asked him to. Instead, he stays and helps the pigs he's been looking after on the farm away from the unit. He is clearly pleased with himself when the sow delivers her piglets and he looks proud for the first time. The trio of bullies arrive the following morning for the package, and when he tells them he doesn’t have it, Danny is very calm and serious. They then threaten the pigs and Danny tells them that 'there are some things you don’t touch' in a menacing way. The bullies leave Danny alone with the pigs. This film was shot at Feltham Young Offernders Institute. All identifiable young offenders are played by actors. The first 91Èȱ¬ broadcast of the programme was in 1993.
