Hemel Hempstead teenager Max Whitlock has won an Olympic bronze medal in the team gymnastics. The 19-year-old helped Team GB to a shock third place - the first team medal in the sport in 100 years.

It was first announced that the team had taken the silver but just ten minutes later the result was downgraded, after Japan appealed.
