Body found in River Nene + Royal Mail building can be supermarket

A body, believed to be a young male, has been pulled out of the River Nene in Northamptonshire + ongoing concerns about the future of a derelict former Royal Mail building in Northampton.

The Breakfast Show follows the latest developments after a body, believed to be a young male, is pulled out of the River Nene between Woodford and Islip in Northamptonshire.

Northampton Borough Council has agreed plans for a large scale food store on the site of the former Royal Mail sorting office in Barrack Road in the town. Tesco's had been in talks with Royal Mail but have now pulled out. Stuart talks to Toby Birch from the nearby Alliston Gardens Community Centre, to Borough Councillor Tim Hadland whose portfolio includes regeneration and who is also a member of the board of the West Northamptonshire Development Corporation, and to Maxine Aldred from the Federation of Small Businesses in Northamptonshire.
