Cook the Perfect...Bread and Butter Pudding with Sophie Dahl
The model, writer and food lover Sophie Dahl famously grew up as the granddaughter of children’s writer Roald Dahl. She has happy memories of life as a child with her grandparents, enjoying food and stories. So it’s perhaps not surprising that now as a published cook she has a love of nostalgic comfort food that takes her back to those days. And that she has a love of writing about food too - something that she shares in her current book, From Season to Season. One recipe that she enjoys around Christmas is bread and butter pudding, which she has made more festive by adding her own twist – panettone. She joins Jane Garvey in the studio to show us how to Cook the Perfect Bread and Butter Pudding with Panettone, and to tell us all about her love of nostalgic home comfort cooking.
