The Olympic Games: Mark and Sophie
Hurdler Mark Holtom wanted to talk to his daughter Sophie about competing in the 1980 and 1984 Olympic Games for Great Britain. Mark remembers what it was like to get his first ever Great Britain jersey and describes exactly what it’s like to walk out in an Olympic stadium – the emotions, the excitement, and the fear for ‘a little lad from Stoke’.
