Tricia and Tommy Arthur have a 16 year old son called Thomas. He has severe cerebral palsy, osteoporosis, epilepsy and he's registered blind. Tricia is Thomas’ registered carer. He needs changed four times a day. He is tube fed through his stomach - that’s how they administer his medicines too. He needs to be lifted in and out of his wheelchair using a hoist. He also has an infectious laugh. The family tell us how they feel they’ve had to struggle to get the help they need to let Tommy get back to work and prevent Tricia from reaching crisis point again.
