The first case for the newly formed team, led by DI Richard Poole, investigating the suspicious death of a bride killed on her wedding day.

The team quickly work out there are only really 6 possible suspects with the means and opportunity to have committed the murder but no-one can work out who had the motive. The whole case seems to revolve around who would murder a bride on her wedding day?
