Eleven thousand Kent schoolchildren are about to find out if they can go to grammar schools. Over half of them will not. Did you put your child in for the 11 plus? Why? Are you paying for your children to go to a private school? Why?

Author and writer Owen Jones says it is time to scrap all selection and segregation in Kent's schools.

If a drug trial is working, is it fair to suddenly stop it?

A Kent mum is fighting to access a drug her nine-year-old son took during a trial into treatment for his debilitating illness.

She says the drug worked and they saw improvement in his condition, but the trial has come to an end and so has the family's access to the drug.
