Sexton Beetles Devour A Rat

Sexton Beetles work to decompose the body of a rat. Sexton Beetles, or The Quarrymen as we affectionately call them, are nocturnal insects that seek out carrion. When they find a fresh corpse, they quickly set about burying it, taking it beneath the ground into a chamber. Around this chamber they lay their eggs, and when the larvae hatch, that fresh corpse becomes food.
