London 2012: One year to go
Events are taking place in the three counties to mark the year countdown to the Olympics. From today, the opening ceremony for the London Olympics will be taking place.
Dorney Lake in Buckinghamshire will host rowing and canoeing in 2012, whilst Lee Valley in Hertfordshire hosts the canoe slalom.
