In this lecture entitled 'The Changing Role of Women', Professor Carstairs considers the psychological gains and losses of altering gender roles in society. He explains how a reduced ability to reach a full potential in life leads to dissatisfaction, giving examples from Africa, Britain and America. He explores how society's rules are causing mental depression in women and evaluates why this is happening.
