Liz Bonnin speaks to experts about the cultivation of Genetically Modified crops in Hawaii, and the wider implications of this controversial subject.
Sharing their views are:
Prof David Christopher from the University of Hawaii, where researchers hope to produce GM Papaya resistant to root fungus.
Dr Dennis Gonsalves from the US Pacific Basin Agricultural Research Center, creator of the first GM fruit to be passed fit for human consumption by US Food and Drug Administration, a ring-spot virus resistant Papaya.
Dr Lorrin Pang, spokesman for 'GMO Free Hawaii' campaign.
