Champion skydiver
Al Hodgson and his partner Pixie are National Champions in Freestyle Skydiving.
It takes dedication and skill to compete against the best in the world, particularly for Al who was injured by a bomb explosion while serving as a paratrooper in Northern Ireland.
As far as he knows, he is the only double amputee to learn to skydive after his injuries and together with his wife Pixie, now competes against able bodied teams.
Based at Langar near Nottingham, Inside Out East Midlands follows them as they compete at the World Championships in Russia and to retain their National title for a third time.
