A Good Birth
Midwife Suzanne Saunders-Blundell has swapped Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield, for a week spent working in the maternity ward of Redemption Hospital, in Liberia, West Africa.
Towards the end of her time there her colleagues allow her to take control and share how she likes to manage a birth. She guides and supports a young woman through a gentle, unrushed labour and is happy when a healthy calm baby is born.
