Being a Midwife Where Babies Die Every Day
Giving birth is a life-endangering business in Liberia, one of the poorest countries in the world - as a British midwife is about to find out.
Suzanne Saunders-Blundell is spending a week at a place where resources are stretched to the limit: the maternity ward of Redemption Hospital.
With even basic resources stretched, it's a huge contrast with Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, where she usually works.
And she is about to find life on the labour wards a shattering and emotional experience.
