Hertfordshire school transport campaign

Parents in Hertfordshire are campaigning against plans to stop free school transport to their nearest secondary school.

Simon and Lorna spoke to Jacinthe Betts, one of the parents who lives there.

Campaigning parents say a new school transport policy is discriminating against children living near Hertfordshire's borders.

The County Council is planning to stop free school transport to the nearest Hertfordshire secondary school.

Instead they want to offer transport to the nearest school, even if that is over the county border.
