Alok Sharma on the Bath Road resevoir plans

After Thames Water's planning application for the Bath Road resevoir was rejected, Reading MP Alok Sharma tells Phil Kennedy why the fight is still on to save the resevoir.

Campaigners are fighting to Save the Bath Road Reservoir. Thames Water put in a planning application to Reading Borough Council to build homes on the land which has been earmarked for development, but it was rejected.

But the fight is still on. Thames Water is now drafting further plans taking into account recomendations from the planning inspectorate.

Reading West MP Alok Sharma told 91热爆 Radio Berkshire's Phil Kennedy why he is backing the campaign to save the reservoir.
