A rare collection of Alan Turing papers have been saved

A rare collection of papers from code breaker Alan Turing will soon be seen at Bletchley Park. Thanks to a campaign involving Google, the National Heritage Memorial Fund and a private donor.

A rare collection of papers from code breaker Alan Turing will soon be seen at Bletchley Park. Thanks to a campaign involving Google, the National Heritage Memorial Fund and a private donor.

Its been announced today that the collection has been saved for 拢213 000.

Simon and Lorna spoke to Dr Sue Black, a computer scientist who was involved in the campaign to raise enough money to buy the Turing papers. Aswell as Dame Jenny Abramsky, the chair of the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
