Police forces in England and Wales will get new powers to help them deal with gangs from today. Lorna and Simon spoke to Jason Cook from Hertfordshire, he was in a gang for 10 years.

Police forces in England and Wales will get new powers to help them deal with gangs from today.

So-called "gangbos" will give police the authority to ban an individual from going to rival gangs' territories, meeting up with fellow gang members or wearing gang "colours".

Simon and Lorna spoke to Professor John Pitts, an expert in gang culture at the University of Bedfordshire.

Jason Cook was live in the studio, he is from Hertfordshire and was in a gang for 10 years. And Crime Prevention Minister James Brokenshire also joined the show.
