UK grime MC Mz Bratt is tipped for big things in 2011. East London MC Mz Bratt is 21-year-old Cleopatra Humphrey. She grew up surrounded by music, her mother working as a security guard at the legendary Last Man Standing events and her father being part of rave pioneers Spiral Tribe. From a young age Mz Bratt was writing lyrics at school and entering talent contests. She has been a name on people's lips since she featured on T4鈥檚 entertainment show Music-Cool in 2007 on Channel 4, where she starred as the lead female. Following this, Mz Bratt embarked on a huge journey from a US/ European tour with Shoreditch cool guys The Count and Sinden including Glastonbury and Bestival followed by touring with N-Dubz, Tinchy Stryder and Kano. Having featured on remixes and records with artists including Godfather of Grime Wiley, Taio Cruz, Sadie Ama and Grammy nominated US Star Jazmine Sullivan, Mz Bratt is no stranger to showcasing her strengths writing and performance-wise. Her infectious track Selecta was playlisted by 1Xtra first, followed by Radio 1.
