Drink Driving in Kent

A so-called 'virtual court' system is being used in North Kent over the festive season, where suspects can almost immediately face magistrates via video-link from a police station.

People caught drink-driving in Kent this Christmas face being banned from the road within hours. After a two year investigation, kent police say they have broken "a modern day slavery operation". We'll be speaking to the RNLI about the governments plans to slash the number of coastguard stations. And it's 40 years since Radio Kent took to the airwaves we'll be looking back at some of our highlights.
