The Poppy Appeal is launched today

The body of a soldier from Tring who was killed in Afghanistan is repatriated to the UK this morning.The return of David Barnsdale's body coincides with the launch of this year's Poppy Appeal.

The body of a soldier from Hertfordshire who was killed in Afghanistan last week is being returned to Britain this morning.

Twenty-four-year-old Acting Corporal David Barnsdale, from Tring, was killed by a hidden bomb. The Prime Minister David Cameron paid tribute to David.

The return of David's body coincides with the launch of this year's Poppy Appeal.
