It's the start of a new era at Sandy Park as, after years of trying, the Exeter Chiefs finally get to play in rugby's Premiership. It couldn't be a bigger game either as Gloucester are the opening day visitors.

There's a big match just down the A38 as well as the Worcester Warriors play their first away match outside of the Premiership at Plymouth Albion.

In the football the big clash of the day is also in Exeter as City host Charlton at St James Park and in League Two Torquay United are at Southend.
