Fundraising Wicked Twins Mari and Lowri Izzard
Singing Twins Mari and Lowri Izzard were nominated by their mum Christine for being so supportive towards their best friend Chloe Bigmore who was lost to cancer 2 years ago.
Keeping her memory alive has been the driving force behind the support they have given to the Chloe Bigmore Trust. Set up by Chloe鈥檚 parents, the charity aims raise enough money to build a holiday home to support the families of sick children. The twins have performed at several charity events to raise funds for the charity, and they recently released a charity CD which included their rendition of Chloe鈥檚 favourite musical theatre tracks. Their favourite track, which they performed on the show, 鈥淔or Good鈥 from the musical Wicked, has a special poignancy as describes how the characters have been changed by their friendship with one another.
After their show stopping performance on Tonight鈥檚 the Night, Lee Mead said of Mari and Lowri:
鈥淚 think we鈥檝e got two west end leading ladies here鈥
