Bhopal and the second generation
Simon Reeve visits the site of an industrial catastrophe in Bhopal, India, where a poisonous gas leak in 1984 blanketed the city and killed between four and ten thousand people.
Simon discovers that the factory is still largely intact, the site has never been properly cleaned up, and that local people are still suffering.
Campaigners believe contamination of the local water supply has created a whole new second generation of victims.
