The Battle of Killiecrankie
Led by Viscount Dundee (formerly John Graham of Claverhouse) the rising in support of James VII was the first of the Jacobite risings. Despite winning the battle, Dundee was killed and the rising failed soon after. Video: Scottish Nation: Programme 3, 1972.
