Cameraman Gordon Buchanan is in place at a raggiana display site, hoping to film their courtship dance. But the heavens open and the rain appears at first to have dampened the birds' ardour. Then two males appear together on a distant branch, and try to outdo each other with their complicated dance and feathers routine. There must be a female nearby, but until one of them wins the girl, they can't afford to stop the show.
