The Chinkara (Indian gazelle) lives in the driest regions of the Thar Desert in India, and can survive without drinking. It gets all the water it needs from dew and its food. These people are strict vegetarians and forbidden to harm any living thing. They therefore protect the local wildlife and try to prevent them coming to harm.
