Billy Monger: The Race Is on for Comic Relief

For Red Nose Day, Billy Monger is pushing himself to his limits as he takes on the iconic one-day endurance Ironman in Kona, Hawaii, to potentially set a new world record.

To raise money for this year's Red Nose Day, former racing driver Billy Monger is about to push himself further than he’s ever gone before as he takes on his most extreme challenge yet.

After 12 months of intensive training and relentless preparation, Billy is competing in the world’s most iconic one-day endurance Ironman competition in Kona, Hawaii, all to raise money for life-changing Comic Relief-funded projects. With a panic-inducing 2.5-mile, deep-ocean swim followed by a gruelling 112 miles by bike and culminating in a full marathon in extreme heat, wind and rain – can Billy make it to the finish line and bag a world record in the process?

Along the way, this brutal challenge pushes Billy to new depths as he discovers what’s truly important to him in life, including his family's support in driving him forward.

It's Billy’s ultimate test, but with a host of celebrities and the Great British public behind him, he’s going to give it everything to cross the finish line.
