Ceramic Art and Keepsake Jewellery
Can potter Marvel get the artistic recognition her unique work deserves, and will jeweller Andie be able to build her dream business after giving up her job?
Marvel, a potter from London, and Andie, a keepsake jewellery artist from Devon, are hoping Dom and his team will help transform their passions into profitable businesses.
Marvel ignored advice to train to be a secretary through a college for people who see differently and pursued a creative career instead. Mentor Stuart believes she has a future as a ceramic artist, given her ability to shape the clay through touch alone. Refining her techniques and marketing her work more effectively will be the key to bringing Marvel the artistic recognition she鈥檚 hoping for.
Ex-furniture store worker Andie is a keepsake artist who encapsulates cremation ashes, hair and pet fur in jewellery. Having made the brave decision to give up her day job and concentrate on crafting full-time, she鈥檚 hoping that Dom and his team of mentors can help her start making money fast! Mentor Sonny thinks she has massive potential, but she needs to expand her skills and her market to really take off.
Both makers have two months to put their mentors' advice into practice before reporting back to Dom. Will they be able to get the recognition and sales they鈥檙e hoping for?
